Applied Research Seminar: How to Establish A Culture of Sustainability in Planned Communities
In 2016, a team of researchers from the University of California Davis (UCD) and the American University in Cairo (AUC) started work on the project "Promoting a Culture of Sustainability at The Sustainability City: Identifying and Adapting Best Practices". Based on continuous observations of the development of The Sustainable City, interviews with residents and employees, input from experts around the world and case studies of residential communities in the Middle East region and beyond, the team has identified important lessons and best practices for anyone interested in promoting a culture of sustainability.
